Piec indukcyjny AFI-02Pt zaprojektowany został do topienia platyny pozyskanej w procesie chemicznego recyklingu metali oraz topieniu złomu platyny. Przechylana sekcja pieca umożliwia wylanie ciekłego metalu do wlewki bez przerywania nagrzewania metalu. Czas topienia pełnego wsadu tygla zajmuje około 20-30 sekund. Urządzenie współpracuje z tyglami z materiału Al2O3.
Piec przystosowany jest do pracy ciągłej.
